Which Exercises Should You Include As Part Of Your Boot Camp Workout?

Would you like to get rid of those extra few pounds you are carrying quickly?  Well you should be considering performing a good quality boot camp workout  routine which you can do in the comfort of your own home.
This form of workout requires you to perform both aerobic exercises along with weight training ones.  However if they are not performed correctly then not only will they not prove effective in helping you to lose weight and get into shape but may actually cause you injury as well.
However if you are someone who has never heard of a boot camp workout before then you will unaware of what sorts of exercises need to be performed.  In this article we take a look at a number of the exercises that you should be doing as part of your bootcamp workout and how they should be performed.    The great thing about doing this form of workout is that you only need to carry it out for 10 minutes to reap the benefits unlike other workouts people use that require them to exercise for 30 minutes or more.
Exercise 1 – High Knee Drill – To begin this exercise you need to raise your left or right knee so that it is as close to your chest as possible and the place your foot back on the ground again.   Now repeat this exercise with the other leg.   When performing this exercise you must make sure that your foot comes into contact with the ground as little as possible and perform each knee raise as quickly as you can.
Exercise 2 – Jump Push Up – You need to jump up into the air as high as you can and then as you land back on the ground on your feet your need to make sure that you keep your hands on the ground.   Whilst your hands are on the ground you then need to kick your feet back so that you find yourself in the position to start a push up.   But rather than doing a push up you need to jump back up so you are in the upright position once more.
Exercise 3 – Bench Dip  - You need to have a bench for this which you can hold on to.   You place your hands on the edge of the bench so that they are behind your back making sure that your feet are on the ground and that your legs are slightly bent.   Once you are in this position you now bend your arms until the elbows form a right angle then simply lower yourself down until you find yourself in the position that you began with.
Above we have taken a look at a number of exercises that you should be including as part of your boot camp workout however there are plenty of others to think about using also.   Especially include exercises such as lunges, squats and presses as well as jumps and dumbbell push ups.   Also include exercises that will work on your hamstrings.
